I'm Mayssa!
My atypical path began in 2017 at the SPCA de Montréal. Initially captivated by human psychology during my university studies, my passion took a turn towards animal behavior during my volunteer work at the shelter. Since then, I've been deeply involved in the world of animal welfare, and this has led me to my current position at the SPCA as a behavior specialist.
In my quest for the best training in the field, I studied at the prestigious Academy for Dog Trainers for just over 2 years, graduating with honors. In the unregulated industry of dog training, I attach great importance to continuing my education, so as to always use up-to-date, science-based methods.
My approach is characterized by empathy and an intervention adapted to your needs and reality. It's important to me to create a climate of trust and pleasure for both dog and guardian!
